Ever heard of the Kimberley region in Australia? It harbours some of the most pristine natural landscapes in the world. With aboriginal rock art dating back thousands of years, traditional aboriginal songlines running through vast areas of bushland, beautiful coastlines and even remains of fossilised dinosaur footprints! This is a very sacred land not to say stunningly beautiful.
But there's been a bit of trouble there lately with oil prospectors. They plan to mine the area turning it into a mess of concrete and steel.
A bunch of good fellas have joined up to save the Kimberley region and they are using creative means to get the word out.
I created this Piece of Josh Ritter, the American musician and author named as one of the Greatest 100 Songwriters Alive, in hope that he would sign it for an art auction to raise awareness and funds for The Circle of One Foundation to Save the Kimberleys.
I met up with him in London whilst he was on his European tour. He is such a talented and humble man.
