By 2011, the total population was estimated at fewer than 2,500 individuals with a decreasing trend. None of the Tiger Conservation Landscapes within the Bengal tiger's range is considered large enough to support an effective population size of 250 adult individuals. Since 2010, it has been classified as endangered by the IUCN. Acrylic and wax on reclaimed wood. Using waste wood saves forests.

Acrylic Painting on reclaimed wood with incorporated pyrography. This is a portrait of my partner and fellow artist Marta Patlewicz. It represents her past, present and future. The sewing machine in the foreground is burnt using pyrographic technique.

This is an Ice Sculpture depicting the word 'time'. It was winner of the adults category of The Ralph Steadman Best Of...Art Competition. The theme to the competition was 'Now'. I thought I would create something that illustrates the elusiveness of that word... You can see a short film of the piece by clicking link below.

Here is a portrait of Dawid Patlewicz, owner of Carpshop.pl with his prized carp.

Singer-Songwriter Ben Howard from Devon has an acute ear for rhythm and melody and has much power and emotion in his voice as the waves that he frequently rides. A keen surfer and promoter of Surfers Against Sewage Ben is one of my favorite UK artist to date. This portrait is burnt onto a piece of driftwood.

The idea is to go out with nothing (except a camera) and create infinity sculptures from found objects. They stand as an acknowledgement that nature will always be here, with or without us humans. I find it an interesting symbol, minimalistic yet holding great philosophical concepts. Infinity ∞

In late July 2010 Pakistan encountered one of the worst floods in its history. Peoples lives were devastated with all possessions being washed away. On hearing news of this, I thought I need to do something to help. I organised a collaborative art piece to raise awareness and funds for this tragic event. 9 Artists from different medium practices came together and created a large art piece calling for help. This was my panel. Burnt onto reclaimed wood.

The Grammy Award winning musician Ray Lamontagne hurls soulful melodies and nostalgic stories of which I and many others can relate to. His music keeps me grounded a lot of the time simply with the back-country rhythms and characteristic husky voice. A lot of my friends enjoy his music too and as he was coming to England on a European tour I decided to create a portrait of him and ask people to write a personal message for him on the back. Woodburnt onto reclaimed wood.

I love acoustic guitars! Such a versatile wooden instrument that can be played so many different ways. This is something I would love to do more of in the future. This piece was for my brothers birthday. It's his guitar and he gave me some key elements that he wanted incorporated into the artwork; Mountains, Forest, Water, An old barn with an old Chevy Truck Inside, and a portraiture idea of his family with a connection to native American spirituality.

The Great Apes, such powerful and insightful animals. A link to our past and our future and yet still they face extinction. Out of respect, I burn thee... This piece was submitted to a BBC Art Contest but was rejected due to not fitting the criteria of medium. Sadly pyrography is not deemed as one of the known art mediums (ie oil paint, acrlic paint, watercolour, graphite pencils, pastel, charcoal, etc.)
